The Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey 2021” is the third-ever release of the popular, non-original colorway of Michael Jordan’s retro basketball shoe that originally debuted in 2001. The “Cool Grey” colorway of the Air Jordan 11 is considered one of the most storied and influential Air Jordan shoes ever, despite the fact that it’s not an original colorway of the silhouette. First released back in March 2001, the “Cool Grey” was later worn by Michael with the Washington Wizards. The Air Jordan 11 “Cherry” is a Holiday 2022 release of Michael Jordan’s retro basketball shoe in a colorway inspired by the Jordan 11 Low “Cherry” from 2001. Like the original “Cherry” from the early aughts, the modern version features a two-tone, white and red color scheme that calls to mind Michael’s time with the Chicago Bulls. The shoe features a white ballistic mesh upper with tonal webbing eyelets and a fiery Varsity Red patent leather mudguard. Additional red detailing comes into play on the Jumpman on the collar and on the “23” branded heel overlay. The interior lining is also designed in red.
